Residue Wax- Foots Oil
Residue Wax or Foots oil is a by-product of the solid paraffin production process, which is a rich source of base oil and free fatty acids.
Applications of foots oil include the shoemaking industry, plastics manufacturing, polishing, particleboard industries, and generally in the woodworking industry.
Residue Wax is an oily substance obtained as a by-product in the process of producing solid paraffin. During this process, when the de-oiling operation is carried out on the raw materials (slack wax), the separated material containing a high percentage of oil is separated and presented as Residue Wax or residue wax. Depending on the oil content, this product is found in a liquid or semi-solid form at normal temperatures.
