PVC STABILIZERS:
PVC stabilizers are additives used in the production of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) to enhance its thermal stability and prevent degradation during processing and usage. Without stabilizers, PVC can degrade when exposed to heat, leading to discoloration, loss of mechanical properties, and eventual failure of the material. Stabilizers work by neutralizing the hydrochloric acid released during PVC degradation, thereby extending the material's life and improving its performance.
